Our Story: 91 Years of Protecting Central Oregon
Prineville Insurance was founded in 1935 in Prineville, Oregon — when Central Oregon was a very different place. What began as a small agency focused on auto and home insurance has grown into one of Central Oregon's most trusted independent insurance agencies, representing over 50 top-rated carriers.
In 2007, George and Monica Elsom purchased Insure Pacific in Bend, Oregon, expanding their presence across Central Oregon. In 2019, they acquired Prineville Insurance, uniting two historic agencies under shared ownership and a shared mission. George passed away in 2022, and Monica has led both agencies with dedication and vision ever since.
Today, Prineville Insurance and its sister agency Insure Pacific together serve 7,000+ Central Oregon families and businesses — offering personal, commercial, farm & ranch, and specialty insurance across Oregon and beyond. From Prineville to Bend, Redmond to Sisters, Madras to La Pine — we are Central Oregon's insurance agencies.
